LSG Released Players List 2026
David Miller

South African veteran batsman David Miller could very well be in the LSG released players list 2026. The left-hand scored 153 runs in 11 innings after he was signed for INR 7.5 Crore. Miller had the responsibility of winning the matches while playing the finisher’s role. However, it didn’t quite go well for him.

Akash Deep
Indian pace bowler Akash Deep was signed for a big INR 8 Crore in the mega auction. However, he missed a huge chunk of the season due to injury. And upon his return, he picked only 3 wickets in 6 matches. With bowling a big weakness for them, the 8 Crore would come in handy in the IPL 2026 auction.

Shahbaz Ahmed
The left-hand orthodox spin bowler Shahbaz Ahmed was brought in and is likely to be a big part of the plan for the season. However, the all-rounder didn’t find a place in the playing XI eventually. He featured in just only one match where he scored 9 runs and took a wicket. Shahbaz is likely to be in LSG released players list 2026 to save 2.4 Crore INR.

Mitchell Marsh proved to be one of the biggest bargain deals in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. LSG bought him for INR 3.4 Crore. The Aussie all-rounder went on to have a stellar season while opening, scoring 627 runs. He will definitely be in LSG retained players list.
Nicholas Pooran is one of the biggest names in the LSG setup. He has been in great form and has been consistently doing well for the Super Giants. This season as well, Pooran scored 524 runs in 14 and will be one of the crucial players next season.
The signing of Aiden Markram also worked wonders for the Lucknow Super Giants. While opening alongside Mitchell Marsh, Markram used to set the tone for the next batters. The South African batter scored 445 runs after he was signed for his base price of INR 2 Crore.
Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player in the IPL auction history after LSG signed for INR 27 Crore. However, he scored only 269 runs, including a century in the last match. Despite many debates, Pant will be part of LSG retained players list 2026 for the ability and the brand value he brings.
Shardul Thakur was brought in as the injury replacement for Mohsin Khan, and he is set to get a permanent contract. Thakur was one of the best bowlers for the franchise, taking 13 wickets in 10 matches before he got injured. He will play for LSG for INR 2 Crore.
Among all the injury casualties, Lucknow Super Giants saw the rise of Digvesh Rathi. The youngster finished as the top wicket-taker for LSG with 14 wickets. He will be in LSG retained players list 2026 for INR 30 Lakh.
